Well folks, it's been a while since I've posted anything. Basically, I've been in shock since that young upstart Obama bested me at the polls! Well, now that he's had 100 days, I guess he's doin' alright. He finally listened to me and is going after the credit card companies. Right on!
We need to keep the pressure on, I don't want to take office in 4 years with all this mess going on, so I hope he gets it all cleaned up!

Well kids, it's down to the wire. Hope you've made your choices carefully!
At least we have the candidates talking about our concerns....but will they do anything???
Whoever you vote for, MAKE THEM KEEP THEIR PROMISES!!! We have no room for "business as usual" These are unusual times, and require unusual solutions. So if you don't like the big party's proposals... go with the unusual! Write in Gina Maseratti for Prez, show your discontent!!!!! Our country needs to band together, protect our people and resources right here, and forget about trying to beat the rest of the world into living our way....... let us lead by example, not by force! We can't afford more war and misery, we need our boys and girls here at home, we need our money here at home, we need to recapture the pride in our country we once had. Well, kids, election time is almost upon us. I've been out stumping and listening to your concerns.
We still have to address the most important issues facing us. $700 Billion of our money has gone out to bail out companies that have profited and are now partying it up with our tax dollars.

Gina's plan;

1. Any company, financial institution, etc, that has received help must require it's officers, owners, etc. to receive a $1.00 a year salary until the company is again profitable. (Remember Lee Iacocca and Chrysler Corp.?)

2. Pay our citizen's mortgage payments for one year, so the mtg co's have some fluidity, the homeowner can stay in his house, and the banks don't have property sitting in foreclosure and deteriorating in value.

3. STOP THE WARS!!!! Put those billions we're wasting to work at home for health care, education, and homeland defense. Let our boys, (and girls) protect our borders, water supplies, and energy institutions, as well as our internet and computer systems from outside terrorism.
Let em' try to hit us here and you'll see every man, woman, child and drag queen, stand up for our defense. Our presence in all these foreign countries is NOT helping the situation, only aggravating it. Let's have our military here where we need them most, and let them be able to go home on weekends and be with their FAMILES!!! Spend the money here and watch our economy blossom.

4. Energy!!!! T-Bone (Pickens) is right!!! Let's use wind power, creating clean safe jobs for displaced coal miners (their wives, husband, etc. would love this) and eliminate our dependence on foreign supply. Re-work the interstate system (thus upgrading the roads and creating new jobs) and include a power distribution system in the highway. A buried power line could supply energy for all electric vehicles, so charging will not be a problem, tolls would be slightly higher, but well worth it for the convenience (not to mention the clean air). Vehicles exiting the highway could then run on their batteries (or ultracapacitors....google "eestor") bin city and short hop travel. Tidal power and wave action generators can provide enough energy to light up all seaside communities (see Popular science's website)

5. Solar powered monorail Miami to Key West!!!! Been harping about this one for 15 years now. Less impact to environment (as opposed to more concrete highways) less drinker (gas burning) cars on the road. Less travel time. Use Florida's greatest energy asset....the SUN!!!!

6. Back to financial crises..... make credit card companies charge REASONABLE interest rates!!!
Prime rate is 1.5%, yet CAPITAL ONE, with whom I've had a card for 10 years, REFUSES to drop my rate from TWENTY NINE PERCENT!!!!!!!!! (I was over the limit once, due to one of their hidden fees. BOYCOTT these criminals, if you can, and demand your representative to put caps on these rates. Louie the shark downtown only takes one leg, so you can still hop to work with the other.

C'mon... let's be realistic..
one blonde is enough for this campaign, tho' Gina's people are in conversations with Hilton's people...could this be the next "Dream Ticket"? Maseratti/Hilton "We get you there fast and make you comfortable when you get there"

We could save on campaign costs and share a dressing room........ NAH, it'll never work!

Politicians are trying bto convince us that offshore drilling is the answer to our woes. This is another KNEE JERK REACTION!!!! What happens when you drain all the oil out of your engine???? The same thing will happen to the earth when we drain all the oil out of her!!
Oil is a finite source, sunlight is unlimited. Let's spend those billions of drilling dollars(not to mention cleanup dollars...which is part of the high price you're paying at the pump) on solar research, or hydrogen production. Hydrogen can be produced by algae, which take very little care to grow. Non food sources, such as switchgrass, can be grown to produce ethanol. Sunlight is free!!! Let's unshackle ourselves from the oil barons and he political boogeymen who want to keep us enslaved!!! Think of ways you can conserve energy today!!!!

DON'T be responsible for allowing oil companies to drill off Florida's coast!!!! President Bush is pushing Congress to lift drilling bans so we will see an easing of prices at the pump. BUSHIT!!!!
We don't need to pollute any more of our precious seas or skies. STOP BUYING GASOLINE NOW!! MANY ALTERNATIVE ENERGY CARS ARE AVAILABLE NOW, such as ZENN, Phoenix, Miles, and many more. Your decision to buy less (or no) petroleum products will not only make a positive impact on our shores, but send a message to the oil barons in the Middle East (and elsewhere) that we're not gonna support their nasty games any more!!!!

Here it is kids...Its getting to be a real problem, this "lesser of two evils" thing! I don't know how either the Democrats or the Republicans can put up these Candidates for President! I mean get real!

This country (our beloved USA) is in REAL TROUBLE! We are at the tipping point...I mean how many of you (my readers) out there can afford to go anywhere, if you you have to pay for gas!...Even the price of food is becoming to much!
